Having the island back to normal meant that Jacob could get back on his regular schedule of swimming and exploring and today, he'd gotten the chance to get in a long swim while the tide was going out. More resistance, that way, and when he came back in to shore to dry off and head back to the Homestead, there was a pleasant ache in his back and arms.
There was a guy on the beach, though, carrying an umbrella and considering it wasn't actually raining, that was kind of a shock. To each their own, yeah, but Jacob couldn't help but call out and say something.
"See, I usually keep the umbrella for when there's a monsoon. You must be from one of those places where it never rains."
